The damage is your viewing time
Camera Figure only exists inside the CCTV feed. It never spawns in person. The mechanic is straightforward: a dark silhouette appears on the camera and slowly drifts closer to the lens. Per Destructoid, the damage scales with how long you watch — "fatal if prolonged" is the documented warning. Closing the feed or switching cameras ends the encounter.
A counter-instinct for CCTV checks
The Stage 6 anomalies workflow says "always open CCTV for every patient" — and that's still right for anomaly detection. But once you've confirmed there's no anomaly on the feed, close it. Camera Figure punishes the habit of leaving the camera open between patients to scan for things. Open, confirm, close.
Where it fits among CCTV threats
The CCTV layer hosts both passive observers (Shadow Figure — just appears, no progressive damage) and active drains (this enemy — moves toward the lens, damages over time). The distinction matters for response: Shadow Figure you can ignore on the feed; Camera Figure forces you to act.
